‘Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists’ gets “really dangerous, really fast,” says star Sasha Pieterse

Freeform/Kurt Iswarienko(NEW YORK) — If you thought last week’s premiere episode of Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists was wild, buckle up for episode two, airing tonight on Freeform, when we see Alison, Mona and the Perfectionists dealing with the aftermath of a pretty gruesome murder on the Beacon Heights University campus.

Sasha Pieterse, who plays Alison, teases what’s in store.

“Episode two is really fun and Alison finds herself in multiple predicaments and so do the Perfectionists,” she tells ABC Radio. “It’s really fun to see Mona kind of unravel, but it gets really dangerous really fast for them.”

She adds, “It just is a tough situation and I think Alison really just freaks out because what has she gotten herself into?”

Not only that, but police are already suspicious of whether Alison, a new T.A. at the university, could have played a role in the murder.

“Looks like, maybe, she could possibly be a suspect, which obviously is not ideal for Alison and this new town and world that she’s in,” Pieterse says.

The Pretty Little Liars spinoff drops PLL favorites Alison and Mona, played by Janel Parrish, into a whole new mystery set at the highly competitive Beacon Heights University.

The show airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Freeform.
