EAGLE GROVE, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted a North Central Conference quad at Eagle Grove Elementary School. The Eagles were joined by Algona, (3A) #1 Humboldt and St. Edmond.
Eagle Grove opened their night by facing off with Algona, as the Bulldogs came away with a 2-0 by sets of 25-10 and 25-13. The Eagles then faced off with top-ranked Humboldt and fell to the Wildcats 2-0 with sets of 25-8 and 25-7.
Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action on Monday, when they travel to Belmond to take on the Belmond-Klemme Broncos in non-conference action, with first serve at 6:45 PM.
