Webster City city council to meet Monday,November 20 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The Webster City city council will meet this Monday evening at 5:30 for its regular meeting in the city council chambers. Two presentations will be a part of the meeting. Officials of Bolton and Menk on Webster City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant Project. The second presentation is on recycling. There will be a dicussion and direction by the city council regarding negotiations with Corn Belt Power regarding transmission projects. The council will discuss and direct the issue regarding parking enforcement on Odell Street between Des Moines Street and Prospect Street during declared snow emergencies. A review of the council/leadership survey will be on the agenda this Monday.
A public hearing on the proposed plans,specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the construction on the Fair Meadow Drive Reconstruction Project. The date of January 2,2024 will be set for a public hearing on the plans,specifications, form of contract,estimate of cost for construction of the 2024 HMA Street Improvement Project. A request by the Webster City Community Theatre requesting help with funding to bring the corner of Bank Street and Willson Avenue up to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Webster City city council will have the mayor to sign and execute an agreement with Karian Peterson Power Line Contracting LLC in an amount of $249,525 for the 69V Transmission Line Relocation Project plus other matters.
A proclamation for the first Lego League Day for December 2,2023 will be signed by the council.
