The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Eagle Grove Eagles boys golf teams returned to action on Wednesday morning, as they competed in their Class 2A Sectional Tournament at Gates Park Golf Course in Waterloo. The Cowboys and Eagles were joined by Belmond-Klemme, Columbus Catholic, Denver, Dike-New Hartford, Hudson and New Hampton.
CGD would place 7th with a team score of 386 (+98), while Columbus Catholic was the team champion with a 322 (+34). CGD did not have individual stats entered in Bound as of Thursday morning.
Eagle Grove placed 8th with a 397 (+109), and also did not have individual stats entered on Bound as of Thursday morning. Columbus Catholic and Hudson advanced to Monday’s district tournament at Dike-New Hartford.
