The Trash Man, in collaboration with the City of Webster City, is excited to announce the delivery of brand-new 96-gallon recycling carts to every home in Webster City beginning this weekend. It will take several days for The Trash Man crews to distribute over 3,500 carts.
The new carts are designed to accommodate a wide range of recyclable materials, making it easier than ever for households to participate in the city’s recycling program. These new carts will replace the use of the green recycling totes.
Key Features of the New Recycling Carts:
1. Enhanced Capacity: The spacious design of the 96-gallon carts allows residents to conveniently dispose of a larger volume of recyclables.
2. User-Friendly: The carts are equipped with easy-to-use handles and wheels, ensuring effortless transportation to and from the curb.
3. Durability and Sustainability: Constructed from high-quality, eco-friendly materials, the carts are built to withstand the demands of regular use. The new recycling carts will have a blue lid to help distinguish them from the green trash cart.
4. Improved Collection Process: The Trash Man’s advanced collection system ensures a seamless and efficient pickup process, further reducing the environmental footprint of waste management operations.
Residents are encouraged to start using their new recycling carts on their normal pickup days starting the first week in December. Detailed instructions on how to use the new carts will be provided with each delivery. Residents may also keep their old green recycling totes to use as they wish around the home. The Trash Man will not be picking up the old totes.
