South Hamilton School Board to look at preparations for a new school year Monday evening.

A meeting of the South Hamilton Community School Board will be this Monday evening at 6:00 at the junior high senior high school board room in Jewell. The board will look at exit survey results, appoint a Title 9, Affirmative Action and Homeless coordinator for the school district, review and approved the school handbooks for the 2023-24 school year, appoint a Level 1 investigator, approve the second and final readings of school board policies, and consider the disposition of vans. There will be a look at personnel issues and consider the transfer of general funds to the general funds. The South Hamilton school board will go into a closed session to conduct a hearing to determine whether to suspend or expel a student. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm will speak about preparations for the next school year set for August 23rd plus other matters.
