The Webster City Community School Board will meet Monday evening, May 13 at 6:00 p.m. at the school administration office on Des Moines Street. The agenda for Monday will include a report by Webster City school superintendent Matt Berninghaus, consider a budget guarantee resolution and 2024 budget amendment. The board will consider and auditing firm proposal, the approval of board policies,consider the Sunset Heights Elementary Principal and fundraising requests. The Webster City school board will accept resignations from paraeducator Troy Duffy,high school english teacher Jeri Jass, Middle School Special Education teacher Carol Quint and paraeducator Sunshine Duffy. Transfer requests to be considered for Cali Peterson from First Grade Teacher to Instructional Coach, Lisa Lyons as a Fifth Grade Teacher to Title 1 Teacher, Danika Klaver as a High School Science Teacher to Instructional Coach, Emily Pruismann from Instructional Coach to ELL Teacher and Caitlynn Findley from Kindergarten Teacher to Special Education Teacher.. The following hirings will be reviewed for approval. They include Darcy Cosens as interim preschool principal, Jessica Stanley as K-12 TAG teacher, Taylor Adams as High School Ag Teacher and Marty McKinney as head Girls Basketball Coach.
