KQ-Area teams compete in boys and girls golf triangular

The South Hamilton Hawks, Eagle Grove Eagles and Clarion-Goldfield-Dows golf teams competed against one another in a boys and girls triangular on Tuesday evening. The boys played their meet at Jewell Golf and Country Club in Jewell, while girls played their meet at Eagle Grove Golf Course in Eagle Grove.

– South Hamilton would win the boys meet with a low score of 173, while CGD was not far off with a team score of 179. Eagle Grove was 3rd at 213, Carson Nesheim had the team low score of CGD, shooting a 41 (+5), while Cale Kirstein shot a 44 (+8).

– Eagle Grove would win the girls meet with a low score of 202, South Hamilton was 2nd with 220 and CGD was 3rd at 243. South Hamilton’s Rebekah Carlson would have the top score, shooting a 44 (+8), while Kennedy Thacker and Piper Willard each shot a 48 (+12) for Eagle Grove.
