Webster City girls compete in Hannover Relays in Algona

The Webster City Lynx girls track team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they made the trip north to Algona to compete in the Hannover Relays at Algona High School. The Lynx were joined by the host Bulldogs, Bishop Garrigan, Clear Lake, Estherville-Lincoln Central, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Lake Mills and Manson-Northwest Webster.

Webster City would only pick up one win in the meet, with that coming in the distance medley, which won in a time of 4:55.98. Other notable results included Cloe Savitski placing 4th in the 200 meter dash in 28.05 and 5th in the 100 meter dash in 13.60, as well as Jakaela Cherry placing 4th in the discus with a throw of 81′ 1″.

Webster City would place 9th in the meet with 31 points, while Fort Dodge was the team champion with 111 points. Full meet results can be found on Bound.
