Jewell-A public hearing to abandon Fifth Street in Jewell will be one of the agenda matters facing the Jewell City Council at their meeting this Monday evening at 7:00 in the Jewell City Hall. The council will then consider a resolution for the abandonment of Fifth Street. There will also be a look at maintenance for the City Hall. The Jewell City Council will meet in a closed session this evening to discuss possible litigation plus other matters that may face the council.
