Williams- Details of an accident north of Williams on Tuesday morning at 190th Street and Vail Avenue were released Wednesday morning by the Iowa State Patrol. Reportedly a northbound 2006 model Peterbilt tractor semi-trailer operated by Paul R. Cartright of Spencer was on Vail Avenue when it came to a complete stop at the intersection at 190th Street. The Cartright semi then continued into the intersection to travel north on to Vail Avenue. An eastbound 2004 Toyota Prius driven by Cole Anderson of Belmond failed to stop at the posted stop sign intersection. Both of the vehicles collided in the intersection and then came to rest at the intersection. Cole Anderson was transported to Mercy One Des Moines by Life Flight for treatment of his injuries in the Tuesday crash. Investigating Iowa State Patrol trooper Sarah Mikkelson reported the Anderson car was totaled with an estimated $10,000 in damage to the Cartwright semi
