Fort Dodge- The Iowa State Patrol investigated a crash involving an SUV and a pickup truck on the southeast side of Fort Dodge at 7:22 a.m. on Monday morning, September 28th. Reportedly a 2013 model Jeep Wrangler SUV operated by Cedric Faith of Fort Dodge was traveling northbound on Quail Avenue and made a left hand turn toward 220th Street. A 1998 model Dodge Dakota pickup operated by Scott Echelberger of Fort Dodge was traveling south on Quail Avenue when the pickup the front passenger side of the Faith SUV as it made left hand turn in front of him. The Faith SUV came to rest in the south bound lane of Quail Avenue facing eastbound and the Echelberger pickup came to rest in the west ditch facing west bound. Faith was transported to the Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center by the Fort Dodge Fire ambulance for treatment of injuries. The SUV driven by Faith was totaled in the crash with the damage to the Echelberger pickup at $10,000. Investigating state trooper Nicholas Adams charged Cedric Faith with Failure to Yield Upon a Left Turn.
