JEWELL, Ia. — The South Hamilton Hawks volleyball team returned to the court on Monday evening, as they hosted their home tournament on Coach Jim Marsh Court at South Hamilton High School. The Hawks were joined by Forest City, Madrid and Panorama.
South Hamilton opened the day with a 2-0 sweep of Madrid with sets of 21-6 and 21-19, before sweeping Forest City with sets of 21-17 and 21-11. The final match against Panorama saw the Hawks go all three sets, but took care of the Panthers 2-1 with sets of 21-11, 18-21 and 15-12.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Tuesday morning.
South Hamilton volleyball returns to action on Thursday, when they travel to Des Moines to take on the Saydel Eagles in Heart of Iowa Conference action at Saydel High School, with first serve at 6:30 PM.
