IOWA FALLS, Ia. — The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls volleyball team returned to the court on Thursday Night, as they made the trek to Hardin County to play in an NCC quad meet at Iowa Falls-Alden High School. The Cowgirls were joined by the Cadets, as well as Algona and (3A) #3 Humboldt.
CGD opened the night by facing the defending Class 3A runners-up, falling 2-0 with sets of 25-12 and 25-16. The Cowgirls then followed by facing off with Algona, as the Bulldogs claimed a 2-0 sweep with sets of 25-11 and 25-21 to finish the night for CGD.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows volleyball returns to action on Tuesday, when they host the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets in North Central Conference Pride Division action at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School, with first serve at 7 PM on 95.7 KQWC or streaming online at kqradio.com.
