CHARLES CITY, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to the floor on Thursday Night, as they made the trip into Floyd County to take on the Charles City Comets and the Clear Lake Lions in North Central Conference action at Charles City Middle School.
Eagle Grove would open with the host Comets, falling by 2-0 by sets of 25-14 and 25-17 to start the night. The Eagles then followed by dropping a 2-0 match to Clear Lake, with sets 25-16 and 25-17 to end the night.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning.
Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action next Thursday, when they travel to Forest City to take on the Indians in North Central Conference Pride Division action at Forest City High School, with first serve at 7 PM.
