WEBSTER CITY, Ia. — Webster City will be looking for new head coaches of the boys golf and boys soccer program with the resignations of golf coach Eric Dawson and soccer coach Craig Signorin, expected to be approved at tonight’s (9/14) school board meeting.
Dawson took over as boys golf coach in 2018 and led the Lynx golf program to two state tournament appearances in 2022 and 2025, while producing a number of individual qualifiers, most recently Coyce Bertran in 2026.
Signorin took over as boys soccer coach prior to the 2011 season, and accrued a record of 189-79-5, along with 4 state tournament appearances, including a semifinal appearance in 2025, along with 5 North Central Conference championships. Webster City boys soccer just missed a 4th consecutive state tournament appearance in 2026, falling to Aplington-Parkersburg in the substate final 3-2.
