Clarion- The issue of data centers, battery and energy storage systems, and windmills will be revisited this Monday morning, July 27th when the Wright County Board of Supervisors meet in the downstairs boardroom in the Wright County Courthouse in Clarion beginning at 9:00 a.m. A large crowd attended the board session last Monday sharing their thoughts both pro and con on the data center issue. The supervisors have been studying the issue and how it will impact Wright County in the future.
The board will review the Wright County Area Landfill invoice and contribution. Wright County Treasurer Peggy Schluttenhofer will present information to assign a County held tax sale certificate. There will also be a drainage trustee meeting plus other matters. Monday’s meeting of the Wright County Supervisors will be video streamed live on the Wright County website and through the Wright County ZOOM page.
