Webster City- Thursday was a day for livestock judging, bucket bottle lambs and the music of Scott Kirkhart and auto racing at the Hamilton County Fair. Today marks the halfway point of the fair with plenty of activities for the day ahead. The Beef Show starts the day at 8:00 this morning with the Bucket Bottle Calf and Goat Show at 4:45 this afternoon. The Vendor Market will be held from 11:00 until 7:00 this evening at the Career Ag Academy Building. Scott Amusements will be open for business starting at 3:00 p.m.. The wristband hours tonight at the midway will be from 7:00 until 10:00 p.m. The beer garden will be open at 6:00 p.m.. Truck pulls at the grandstand tonight at 6:00 p.m. A free concert with Jack Jensen Wibholm will be presented tonight at 8:00 p.m. at the EBY Trailer FREE stage.
As for the kid’s activities today, they include a foam party from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in front the EBY Trailer stage, Books in the Barn at 12 noon in the horse pavilion, The Kid’s Zone will be open today from 12 noon until 5:30 in the Career Ag Academy building,There will be Mini-Golf at 12 noon today and the Pedal Pull at 3:30 this afternoon south of the Coop Building.
