A Dutch Oven Gathering Potluck for anyone who enjoys cooking
outdoors with a Dutch Oven. The event is set for Wednesday evening, June 17th starting at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the outback of the Hamilton County Conservation Office at 2490 Briggs Woods Trail south of Webster City.. Dutch oven cooking was a life skill the pioneers who experienced to survive and today people enjoy it is as a hobby. Join Hamilton
County Naturalist John Laird at the Outback Area behind our Conservation Office as you
will cook over campfires or use charcoal to make a potluck meal. Visitors will enjoy the meal outside in lawn chairs or at tables in the Conservation Office display room. You are asked to bring your lawn chair, Dutch oven,
cookware, food to cook, and recipes to share with others. There will be some recipes to share and you can make copies of your recipes.
Paper plates and plasticware will be available but feel free to bring your plate and
