Another meeting of the Stratford City Council will be this Monday evening, June 8th.

Stratford- The Stratford City Council will meet on Monday evening, June 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Stratford City Hall at 805 Shakespeare. Highlights at Monday’s meeting will be from the board member of the Stratford Community Development Corporation. The council will consider the approval of the Stratford Community Development Corporation donation request for a season pool pass for the 2026 season during the July 11th “Stratford on the Loose” raffle. There will also be a review of the invoice from Harvest Electric LLC for $1070.90 for the Stratford Municipal Pool lights using LOSST funds designated for the pool. Another invoice to be considered from Hill Backhoe and Tiling for $8,937.97 for the Stratford Municipal Pool lean using LOSST funds designated for the pool.

The Stratford City Council will look at radio read meter programs and on the Early Learning Center funding request. The council will also consider the approval of a quote for $9,927 from Griner Fencing of Webster City for lagoon fencing. A resolution will be considered for appointing the City Manager to serve for the 2027-28 and 2028-29 fiscal years and to set the compensation terms plus other matters facing the Stratford City Council
