Webster City- It’s that time of year again for the applications for Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Grants. The Webster City Hotel Motel Tax Board will meet this Thursday afternoon, May 13th at 5:15 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. The board will discuss the application process for this year and to develop a schedule of events for 2026 with Round 29 of the grant process. The Webster City Hotel Motel Tax is a 7% levy on room rentals used to fund local tourism, community projects and infrastructure improvements. Proceeds specifically support the [Hotel/Motel Tax Grant Program], which funds initiatives like park improvements, local fair enhancements, and community facilities to attract visitors and improve quality of life.
