Stanhope- The May meeting for the Stanhope City Council is set for this (Tuesday) evening at 6:00 in the Stanhope Community Center board room. The council will discuss plans to find a new member of the Stanhope Library Board. A discussion on the recent oversight of the Stanhope City Audit by state officials will be reviewed. An update on public safety for the community will be presented to the council. Resolutions presented to the council at the Tuesday meeting will be a solar resolution for the town of Stanhope, residential digging, amending the community budget,and on the assessing of fees for ordinance abatement plus other matters.
