Webster City- A proclamation for Poppy Days in Hamilton County was signed Tuesday morning by the Hamilton County Supervisors at their board meeting. The poppies will be available for purchase at numerous locations across the county on May 22nd and 23rd. Representatives of the Webster City American Legion Auxiliary were in attendance with the supervisors Tuesday morning.
The Hamilton County Board of Supervisors accepted the resignation of Brian Lammers as Hamilton County Weed Commissioner. Lammers has been serving as the weed commissioner since 2020.
A resolution for a bank authorization with the Hamilton County Firefighters Association was accepted for authorized signatures by Kim Schaa and Doug Timmons of Stratford.
The board approved an agreement with Cost Advisory Services, Incorporated for their services for Hamilton County.
Resurfacing work continues on Hamilton County R-77 in eastern Hamilton County continues by county road crews. The work is expected to be completed by June 1st.
