HUMBOLDT, Ia. — The Webster City Lynx girls soccer team returned to action on Friday, as they made the trip to Humboldt County to take on the Humboldt Wildcats in North Central Conference action at Mason Maach Field. Webster City entered at 3-5, as Humboldt entered at 4-1-2.
Humboldt would strike early off goals from Sadie Hubbell and Kaleigh Vinsand in the first 20 minutes to take a 2-0 lead. Webster City would hold the Wildcats at bay for the remainder of the contest, but the Lynx could not generate any offense in the 2-0 defeat.
Webster City girls soccer returns to action on Monday, as they host the Wright County Broncos in North Central Conference action at Lynx Field, with kickoff at 5:30 PM.
