FORT DODGE, Ia. — The Webster City Lynx girls golf team returned to action on Thursday, as they made the short trip to Fort Dodge to take on the St. Edmond Gaels and Charles City Comets in North Central Conference action at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course.
Webster City would emerge as the meet champion, shooting a 218 (+74), as the Lynx’s top scorer would be junior Hayden McCoy, who shot a 52 (+16). Sophomore Abigail Heckart would shoot a 55 (+19), as senior Kenley Koop also shot a 55 (+19), while junior Carli Jessen rounded out scoring with a 56 (+20).
Other scorers for the Lynx saw senior Ellie Peterson shoot a 57 (+21) and senior Alleyna Dawson shoot a 58 (+22).
Webster City girls golf returns to action on Friday, as they compete in the Kuemper Catholic Invitational at Carroll National Golf Course.
