JEWELL, Ia. — The South Hamilton Hawks girls golf team returned to action on Tuesday afternoon, as they hosted the Ballard Bombers for a non-conference meet at Jewell Golf and Country.
South Hamilton would come up 4 strokes short of the Bombers on Tuesday, as the Hawks shot a 213 (+69), as their tip placer was sophomore Emma Lammers, who shot a 49 (+13). Senior Arynn Luppes would shoot a 50 (+14), senior Abby Richardson shot a 53 (+17), as Grace Larson rounded out varsity scoring with a 61 (+25).
Other scorers for the Hawks saw senior Sophie Nibe shoot a 62 (+26), as senior Ava Corbin shot a 64 (+28).
South Hamilton girls golf returns to action on Monday, when they compete in a quad meet with Roland-Story, Ballard and North Polk at Tournament Club of Iowa, beginning at 4 PM.
