Iowa State Patrol investigate one car accident early Friday evening in Webster County.

A Britt motorist escaped injury in a one car accident early Friday evening near Dayton at 390th Street and Taylor Avenue. The Iowa State Patrol reported an eastbound 2002 model Mazda Protege operated by Taylor Bierle of Britt lost control and then entered the south ditch. The Bierle car then tumbled before coming to a final rest in a field on the south side of the road. The car was totaled in the Friday evening accident. Investigating Iowa State Patrol trooper Bennett Eaton cited Taylor Bierle with Failure to Maintain Control.
