Jewell- A property tax public hearing will be on this (Monday) evening’s agenda of the Jewell City Council set for 7:00 p.m. at the Jewell City Hall. The other agenda items for the council tonight includes considering a cooperative equipment agreement with the Hamilton County Conservation Department, support a letter for TAP (Transportation Alternative Program) funds for the trail project from Jewell to Little Wall Lake and plans for signage for the trail behind the Jewell cemetery. The Jewell City Council will set the public hearing to vacate the alley at 101 Reinhart. There will be a further discussion on the Jewell City Budget for the 2026-27 Fiscal Year plus other matters.
