Hamilton County Conservation Board to meet Tuesday morning,March 24th at 9:30 a.m.

The March meeting of the Hamilton County Conservation Board will be Tuesday morning, March 24th at 9:30 at the Briggs Woods Conservation office south of Webster City.  The agenda for Tuesday’s meeting include a look at park projects, setting the opening date of the county park campgrounds for the 2026 season, an announcement for the office manager position and a park ranger position update. The board will get an update from the Briggs Woods Golf Course superintendent, the opening of the golf course for the season and the setting of credit card transaction fees.

In other matters Tuesday, the Conservation Board will consider 28-E agreements with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and with the city of Jewell for board use. Hamilton County Conservation executive director Brian Lammers will present his report to the board plus other matters.
