The Webster City Lynx boys golf team returned to action on Thursday afternoon, as they welcomed in North Central Conference rivals Humboldt and Clear Lake to Links Public Golf Course in Webster City.
Webster City would place 3rd with a team score of 164 (+20), as all 3 teams would be within 5 strokes of each other. Cael Nixon was the Lynx top golfer, shooting a 37 (+1) on the day. Braylon Plain would shoot a 39 (+3), Braden Doering would shoot a 43 (+7), while Dawson Bertran would shoot a 45 (+9) to round out scoring for the Lynx.
Humboldt would win the meet with a 159 (+15), while Clear Lake placed 2nd with a 161 (+17). Webster City boys golf returns to action on Friday, when they compete against Clarion-Goldfield-Dows and Hampton-Dumont-CAL at Hampton Country Club.
