The Eagle Grove Eagles golf teams returned to action on Thursday afternoon, as they made the trip to Algona to take on Bishop Garrigan and Lake Mills at Spring Valley Golf Course in Algona in Top of Iowa Conference action.
Eagle Grove’s girls would place 3rd in the meet with a 232 (+88), as Bishop Garrigan won with a 215 (+71) and Lake Mills was 2nd with a 216 (+72). Eagle Grove’s individual stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning.
The Eagle Grove boys would also place 3rd in the meet with a score of 204 (+60), as Lake Mills took the team win with a 171 (+27), and Bishop Garrigan was 2nd with a 174 (+30). Eagle Grove’s individual stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning.
Eagle Grove boys golf returns to action on Saturday, when they compete in an 18-hole tournament at Algona Country Club. Girls golf returns to action on Monday, when they travel to Belmond to face Belmond-Klemme and North Iowa.
