The Eagle Grove Eagles boys track team made the short trip west on Tuesday afternoon, to compete in Cougar Relays at Manson-Northwest Webster High School in Manson. The Eagles were joined by the host Cougars, as well as Carroll, East Sac County, Pocahontas Area, South Central Calhoun, Southeast Valley and St. Edmond.
Eagle Grove would see just a pair of event wins on Tuesday, as Cayden Schultz won the 200 meter dash in a time of 23.51, while the 4×200 relay won in a time of 1:35.03 with the team of Richardson-Spencer-Langfitt-Schultz. Eagle Grove would also set a new season-best in the 4×100 relay, placing 2nd in a time of 45.94 with the team of Richardson-Spencer-Langfitt-Schultz.
Eagle Grove would place 6th in the meet with 61 points, Carroll was the team champion with 103 points. Full meet results can be found on Bound.
