Emergency snow ordinance begins at midnight this Wednesday night.

Due to a multi-day winter storm and blizzard conditions forecasted beginning Wednesday night, the City of Webster City is being proactive and providing advanced notice that a Snow Emergency has been declared for Thursday December 22nd starting at 12:00 A.M.
· Vehicles must remain off the streets once the snow emergency goes into effect and remain off the streets until the snow emergency is terminated.
· Vehicles may be ticketed. Vehicles are not allowed to park on the street during the emergency declaration. Parking citations will be written starting at 7:00 A.M. In addition to a citation, vehicles parked on the street during a declared emergency are subject to tow if they pose a hazard for maintenance crews and/or the public.
When a Snow Emergency has been declared, the notification is posted on the City Facebook page, the Police Department Facebook page, KQWC radio and the Daily Freeman Journal.
