The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union in West Des Moines released postseason pairings and assignments for the 2022 volleyball postseason on Friday afternoon. All 5 KQ-area teams learned their postseason destinations and brackets, with an eastern-theme for all of the area programs.
Webster City Lynx
Webster City was assigned to Class 4A, Region 6 and will take on the Fort Dodge Dodgers from the Iowa Alliance Conference in the first round at Webster City High School on October 18th at 7 PM. The winner of the match would advance to face top-seed and 4th-ranked Western Dubuque in Epworth on Thursday, October 20th.
CGD Cowgirls/Eagle Grove Eagles
The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls and the Eagle Grove Eagles were assigned to Class 3A, Region 4. Eagle Grove opens their postseason on Monday, October 17th against top-seed and 5th-ranked Union, La Porte City, the winner facing the winner of Clear Lake/Forest City.
Clarion-Goldfield-Dows opens their postseason by hosting Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on October 17th, with the winner advancing to face the winner between Hampton-Dumont-CAL and 13th-ranked Center Point-Urbana on October 19th.

Roland-Story Norsemen
The Roland-Story Norsemen were assigned to Class 3A, Region 6 and will host the South Tama Trojans at Roland-Story High School on October 17th. The winner of the match will advance to face off with the winner of Anamosa and 15th-ranked Vinton Shellsburg on October 19th.

South Hamilton Hawks
The South Hamilton Hawks were assigned to Class 2A, Region 4, where they will travel north to face Manson-Northwest Webster on October 19th. The winner will advance to face the winner of Woodward-Granger/Ogden and #1 Dike-New Hartford.
