Jewell-Layla Joachim and Jesus Garcia were crowned the 2026 South Hamilton High School Queen and King at a coronation ceremony Sunday evening in the high school auditorium. Joachim and Garcia will reign over the week of activities for the fall ritual for students and staff at South Hamilton. Sunday evening featured a powder puff football game and a movie at the football field. There will be theme days each day this week. A Homecoming volleyball tournament is set for Wednesday afternoon. A day to celebrate the Red and White comes Friday with a Pep Assembly at 1:30 followed by a parade through the Jewell business district at 2:30 p.m. South Hamilton will face East Sac County in the Homecoming football game at 7 on Friday night. The Homecoming week will wrap up on Saturday night with a dance at the high school from 8 until 10 p.m.
