EAGLE GROVE, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted the Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets in North Central Conference Pride Division action at Eagle Grove Elementary School. The Eagles entered at 0-12, while the Cadets entered at 9-6.
Iowa Falls-Alden would control the match from the outset, dominating set 1 25-7, before winning the second set by a score of 25-13. Eagle Grove would generate a little more offense in the 3rd set, but Iowa Falls-Alden would come away with a 25-15 win and a 3-0 sweep.
Eagle Grove stats were not available as of Friday morning.
Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action on Thursday, when they travel to Charles City for a North Central Conference quad at Charles City Middle School, with first serve at 7:15 PM.
