EAGLE GROVE, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles volleyball team returned to the court on Thursday night, as they hosted the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Cardinals in North Central Conference action at Eagle Grove Elementary School. Eagle Grove entered with a record of 0-7, while GHV entered a perfect 7-0.
GHV wasted little time in pouncing on the Eagles as the Cardinals won set 1 by a score of 25-10. Eagle Grove would put up more of a fight in the 2nd set before ultimately falling 25-15, as the Cardinals ran away with set 3 by a score of 25-8 to cap a 3-0 sweep.
Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning.
Eagle Grove volleyball returns to action on Thursday, when they host a North Central Conference quad meet with Algona, (3A) #1 Humboldt and St. Edmond, beginning at 5 PM.
