WEBSTER CITY, Ia. — In a release on Thursday morning, the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Ames Regional Economic Alliance, announced that Taylor Nokes had been hired as the new executive director of the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce.
Nokes is a 2016 graduate of Webster City High School and 2020 graduate of Iowa State University’s Ivy College of Business and lives in Webster City with her husband and two children.
In the release, Nokes stated “I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the Executive Director for the Webster City Chamber of Commerce, as I am passionate about the success of our community and the people who make it such a great place to live and work,” Nokes said. “I am looking forward to building strong relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to help make Webster City grow and thrive!”
Ames Regional Economic Alliance President and CEO Dan Culhane, also commented on the hiring: “Taylor brings a strong combination of business experience, relationship-building skills and a problem-solving mindset that will serve the Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce well,” said Culhane. “Her professional experience and personal connection to the Webster City community make her a great fit to lead the Chamber and support local businesses. We are thrilled to have as part of the team.”
Nokes began her role as executive director on August 17th.
