Webster City Police investigate a three vehicle accident at mid-day Sunday,

Webster City- Webster City Police released details Monday of a three-vehicle accident at 12:19 Sunday afternoon at Fairmeadow Drive and Superior Street. Reportedly a northbound 2007 model General Motors Sierra K150 pickup truck operated by Kervin Marroquin Morales of Eagle Grove was turning west on to Fairmeadow Drive with a yellow traffic light turn arrow sign. A southbound 2009 model Dodge R35 pickup truck operated by Hunter Van Every of Webster City had the green traffic light when it struck the Marroquin Morales pickup truck. The impact sent the Marroquin Morales pickup striking a 2022 model Ford Explorer SUV driven by Roger Johnson of DeWitt, Iowa. The Johnson SUV was stopped at the red light at the time of Sunday’s accident facing east on Fairmeadow Drive. Both Maroquin Morales and Van Every were taken to Van Diest Medical Center for a medical evaluation. Johnson escaped injury. Both the Marroquin Morales and Van Every vehicles were totaled in the accident with the damage to the Johnson SUV estimated at $5000. Investigating officer Ryan Basinger charged Kervin Marroquin Morales with No Driver’s License and Failure to Provide Financial Liability in a Motor Vehicle Accident.
