Stanhope- A wide range of issues face the Stanhope City Council meeting at their next meeting this Tuesday evening, August 11th at 6:00 in the Stanhope Community Center. An alternate for the Ioway Creek Watershed Management Authority will be discussed. A proposed ordinance to restrict 1st floor apartments will be reviewed by the Stanhope City Council. The installation of a new sign for speeding vehicles on the Main Street of Stanhope will be presented. The replacement of an HVAC system for the Stanhope Community Center, Library and City Office will be looked at along with the condemnation of abandoned property. Plans for a Fall Festival in Stanhope will be shared at the Tuesday evening meeting plus other matters before the council.
