The first Tuesday of August means it’s time again for National Night Out. This year’s event comes to West Twin Park this Tuesday, August 4th from 5:00 until 7;00 p.m. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign to promote positive relationships with police,sheriff, fire and EMS staff from across Webster City and Hamilton County. Tuesday’s event will feature representatives of the Webster City Police and Fire Departments, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa State Patrol, Van Diest Medical Center, Hamilton County Conservation and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to meet with the public. The evening will feature food, games, face painting and more. National Night Out is open to everyone and is free.
