Des Moines-Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds on Monday appointed Fort Dodge attorney Ryan Kehm as a District Court Judge in Judicial District 2B. Kehm, formerly of the Crimmins and Kehm Law Firm of Fort Dodge will replace the retiring District Court Judge John Haney. Judicial District 2B covers a 13-county area in north central Iowa. The counties are Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Marshall, Pocahontas, Sac,Story, Webster and Wright counties. Kehm earned his undergraduate and law degrees from Creighton University in Omaha.
It should be noted that Kehm’s law partner,Mark Crimmins died this past Monday at the age of 64. He was a longtime Fort Dodge attorney and served on the board of directors of Iowa Central Community College. The Funeral Mass for Mark Crimmins will be held this Monday morning, July 27th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fort Dodge at 10:30 a.m.
