Webster City- Another meeting for the Webster City City Council is set for this Monday evening, July 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the council chambers. A nuisance hearing requested by the property owner at 820 Fair Meadow Drive will be on Monday’s agenda. The Hamilton County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan public hearing will be on the agenda with the policy to be adoption. The council will set August 3rd at 6:05 p.m. for a public hearing on a proposal to renew the City-Wide Urban Revitalization Plan for Residential Tax Abatement for Webster City. A resolution supporting the application of Webster City Custom Meats, Incorporated to the Iowa Economic Development Authority Iowa High-Quality Jobs Program will be discussed at the meeting.
In other matters this Monday, the council will consider a resolution authorizing the construction services for the Public Scope of Work in the amount of $140,800 with Snyder and Associates. There will be a request for approval of Public Parking Area in the 500 South Parking Lot Closure on Saturday,August 29th from the Angel Tree Ride Committee and American Tap.
Monday evening’s Webster City City Council meeting will be video streamed on the City of Webster City and KQWC Facebook pages. On Tuesday morning, KQWC will air an interview with Webster City city manager John Harrenstein about the meeting and a look at other issues in Webster City.
