Ellsworth City Council set to meet this Monday evening, July 13th.

Ellsworth-A public hearing to amend the Fiscal Year 2027 Ellsworth City Budget will be on this Monday evening’s city council meeting agenda with the adoption to follow. A brush nuisance abatement extension at 436 Brinton Avenue will be considered. The council will look at a city brush side and for the accessory building at 546 Des Moines Avenue. The Ellsworth City Council will discuss a policy for E-Bikes, Scooters and Electric Vehicles and an ordinance for fireworks. The third reading on the proposed water ordinance will be a part of the agenda with the ordinance of the new water rates to be approved. The Highway 175 and Ubben Avenue Crosswalk will be discussed by the council. A resignation from the Ellsworth Public Library will be accepted by the council. Updates regarding the Ellsworth water plant, lagoon and a water main leak on North Ubben Avenue will be presented for review plus other matters. Monday’s Ellsworth City Council meeting begins at 6:00 at Ellsworth City Hall.
