July meeting for the South Hamilton Community School Board set for this Monday evening, July 13th in Jewell.

Jewell- This Monday will be busy for the members of the South Hamilton Community School Board. A special meeting has been called for 4:30 p.m. to review the applicants for the board vacancy in District 3. The regular board meeting will start at 6 p.m. The highlights for this Monday’s board session includes a presentation on the FBLA National Conference held this summer in San Antonio.  A discussion on 8th grade participation in High School Athletics will be on the agenda. Other matters include a look at the $7,500,000 School Infrastructure Sales, Service and Use Tax Revenue Bonds Series 2026. A bid for audit services for the 2026-30 Fiscal Years will be considered by the South Hamilton School Board. In other matters the board will consider the disposal of obsolete equipment, a review and updates to various school board policies.  The board will look at personnel matters. The reorganization of the South Hamiton Board will take place with the oath of office to the new board president, appoint a director district 3 members,with the oath of office to follow and other matters. South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm will be present her report to the board members at South Hamilton on Monday evening.
