Light agenda to face the Webster City City County at their Monday evening meeting.

Webster City- A light agenda will face the Webster City City Council at their next meeting set for this Monday, July 6th at 6 p.m. in the city council chambers. A public hearing will be held to amend Chapter 50 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Webster City. This amendment updates Section 50-1 to clarify definitions regarding accessory buildings and walls and introduces a new Section 50-166 to regulate the placement and usage of shipping containers. The council will set a public hearing date of July 20th at 6:05 p.m. for the Hamilton County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. Webster City Communications Director Amelia Oliver will present information on the ISU Mayors Design Workshop involving Webster City.  A resolution approving the purchase of a Submersible Mixer, Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Panel and accessories from the Electric Pump for the Water Treatment Plant and authorizing the City Manager to proceed with the procurement. There will also be the second reading on amending the chapter when it comes to the International Residential Code for One-and Two-Family Dwellings plus other matters.
