Webster City- Webster City Police released details Tuesday of a one vehicle accident at approximately 8:12 Sunday night on the west side of Kendall Young Park. Reportedly a southbound 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV operated by a 16-year-old Webster City female lost control on the uneven gravel path. The SUV continued south before the rear driver side wheel clipped a tree along the east river bank of the Boone River. This caused the vehicle to skid and hit another tree where it came to rest. The driver complained of pain from the seat belt with the SUV totaled in the accident at Kendall Young Park. A charge of failure to maintain control was filed against the driver by investigating officer Matt Meyer
