Webster City- Tuesday will be a busy one for the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors. The regular board meeting is set for 9:00 a.m. Operations at Briggs Woods Conference Center will be one of the agenda matters at the meeting. There will be discussion on a modified 28 E agreement with Webster County, consider a Public Defender Office Lease, approve a retail tobacco license and an opioid funding request for the Hamilton County Public Health Department. The Supervisors will consider a resolution for a Bridge Farm Addition.The appointment for a board of trustee member to the Williams Public Library will be discussed and a look at personnel matters. The date and time will be set for a public hearing on the 2026 multi-jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan will be set. Hamilton County Supervisors Mary Clausen, April Ely and Rick Young along with county department heads will present county information on Tuesday morning

The Hamilton County Supervisors will meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in response to the petition protesting the Fiscal Year 2027 Budge of the Hamilton County Hospital or Van Diest Medical Center and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 24 of the Iowa Code , the State Appeal Board Public Hearing on this matter will be held.

Both meetings will be held in the downstairs conference room of the Hamilton County Courthouse and will be audio streamed live on the Hamilton County website at www.hamiltoncounty.iowa.gov on Tuesday morning.
