ELLSWORTH- Ellsworth City Council members will get down to business for their next meeting this Tuesday evening, April 28th at 6:00 p.m, at the Ellsworth City Hall. The council will a public hearing regarding the Ellsworth City Fiscal Year 2027 Budget with the council to adopt it after the hearing. A wind/hail insurance policy from Shomo Insurance will be considered by the council at their Tuesday evening meeting. Road closures by the Ellsworth Community Association for the Ellsworth Extravaganza will be considered for approval.
In other matters, the Ellsworth City Council will look at the ISU Comp Plan’s final review, review the Ellsworth tree inventory, and a rate study review for the Ellsworth water tower project will be presented. There will a discussion of an Eagle Scout Project for the Ellsworth Community Center, consider a commercial development proposal for the Ellsworth Dental Clinic. The council will meet with Bolton and Menk engineers on the water plant project plus other matters at the Tuesday meeting.
