Two public hearings on the Matrix review for two confinements in Wright County will be a part of this Monday morning’s meeting of the Wright County Supervisors at 9:00 a.m. in the courthouse basement in Clarion. The first hearing at 9:30 is for the Buffalo Site in Vernon Township, Section 15 for two new confinement pits and barns. The second hearing regards Lake Township, Section 22 to increase the animal capacity only to an existing confinement facility. The date of May 4th will be set for the Wright County Budget Amendment hearing. Officials with Elizabeth Thyer, Gardiner and Company of Charles City will present the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Wright County Audit. In one other matter on Monday, the Wright County Supervisors will approve a new hire for a Telecommunications Specialist in the Wright County Communications Office. There will a drainage trustee meeting after Monday’s Supervisors meeting.
